Dan Braniff Crowned All-Ireland Champion at Siege VII

🥊 DAN BRANIFF TAKES THE ALL-IRELAND TITLE AT SIEGE VII!

🏆 DAN BRANIFF WINS BY SPLIT DECISION!
Dan started strongly, using his experience to score with sharp low kicks and well-timed knees over the opening two rounds. But Toland wasn’t there to make up the numbers, pushing forward and forcing Dan into a real scrap.

Rounds three and four were fiercely contested, with Toland drawing Dan into a scrap out of his comfort zone. The contest became untidy, with both men battling hard. A suspected accidental clash of heads also left Dan with a cut beneath his eye.

Going into the fifth and final round, everything was still to fight for. Both fighters gave everything in a dramatic fifth and final round, leaving the outcome in the judges’ hands.

The verdict – 2 judges to 1. AND THE NEW WKO ALL-IRELAND CHAMPION… DAN BRANIFF! 🏆
A tremendous achievement for Dan and full credit to young Lachlan Toland for a spirited championship performance.

🥊 JAMES BRANIFF – THREE SOLID ROUNDS!
James Braniff stepped in at short notice to face Filipe Nunes of Birr Kickboxing in a three-round exhibition after Nunes’ original opponent withdrew.

Working from southpaw, James impressed with sharp low kicks, body kicks and head kicks, increasing the pressure as the contest progressed and finishing strongly.

Three valuable rounds for both fighters, with no official decision given. Well done to James and Filipe, and thanks to coach Raphael for his sportsmanship as usual.

🥊 ANDY PRADO vs NATHAN LACH – HEART AND DETERMINATION!
It wasn’t Andy Prado’s night in his second competitive outing, losing a unanimous points decision to Nathan Lach.

Caught by a powerful head kick which floored him in the opening round, Andy showed tremendous character to recover before coming roaring back in round two, pressing forward with strong boxing and low kicks.

A closely contested final round saw both fighters exchanging shots, but Lach took the judges’ decision.

A tough result, but plenty of positives for Andy, who showed real fighting spirit. Congratulations to Nathan Lach on his victory.
