ProKick Kids - Supporting and engaging our young members has always been at the heart of what we do. Since its inception, ProKick has focused heavily on nurturing the next generation through our junior ranks. For over 30 years, we’ve proudly served the community from our Wilgar Street Gym. On August 1st, 2022, after six years of dedication and hard work, we opened the doors to our state-of-the-art ProKick Kickboxing & Fitness Centre of Excellence. Check out the link to see highlights from our open day, and don’t forget to explore class schedules and booking options for your child.

ProKick Belfast Kids Class of 2017.

The foundation of our youth classes is simple: fun comes first. When young participants genuinely enjoy themselves, fitness and healthy eating transform from tasks they have to do into activities they eagerly anticipate. OUR GYM

What can your child expect?

None of our junior classes involve any sort of full-contact. Instead, our ProKick Kids learn basic strength and flexibility exercises and have fun learning some of the moves in kickboxing. Each class a strong focus on our core motto of "Hard Work Pays Off" and never give up on your dreams which enables our young people to live out these values in every area of their lives. Firm favourites are our "ProKick Says" competitions and "Freeze" competitions which encourage active listening skills, discipline, co-ordination and healthy competition. This allows us to award many resulting in our kids leaving with a great sense of achievement and pride.

Our young members are encouraged to make their way up a series of levels / grades, with the base level being White Belt, through ten levels, finally reaching a Dan grade at black belt, which is equivalent, if you like, to a degree level in kickboxing. ProKick Kids offers opportunities to increase confidence levels, make new friends and enjoy a fun-filled fitness experience.

Why would kickboxing be suitable for your child?

In our experience, every parent has a different reason for bringing their children to the gym and we cater for all of them. Our classes are suitable for kids with a variety of needs, we have had members (past and present) with Autism, ADHD, Asperger's, Dyspraxia, Anxiety and Depression. If you have any queries over whether ProKick is suitable for your son/daughter, don't hesitate to contact us via info@prokick.com or call 028 9065 1074.
