Weigh-in Complete as Late Call-up Presents Major Opportunity
March 28, 2026
ProKick’s next generation continues to rise, as 16-year-old Max Murray answered a late call to compete for the WKN Junior International Title in Germany tonight. With less than 24 hours’ notice, Max travelled to Berlin, stepping straight into fight week with the kind of attitude that defines The ProKick Way — ready, focused, and prepared to take on any challenge.
Upon arrival in Berlin, Max went straight to the official weigh-in to face his opponent, Stefan Cvetkoski of Kickboxtempel Vohburg.
Upon arrival, there was no time to settle. Max went directly to the official weigh-in, where he came face to face with his opponent, Stefan Cvetkoski of Kickboxtempel Vohburg.
Competing in the 69.9kg youth division, Max hit the scales comfortably at 68kg, while Cvetkoski came in at 69.5kg, right at the top end of the limit.
Despite the short notice and the immediate turnaround, Max looked composed, confident, and excited for the opportunity ahead — a clear sign of his preparation and always ready mindset.
The bout will be contested over 4 x 2-minute rounds under amateur rules, providing a demanding test for both young fighters on an international stage.
For ProKick, this moment reflects everything the gym stands for — stepping up when it matters, embracing the challenge, and representing Belfast with pride.
