Venture Kids Return to ProKick for a Morning of Fun, Fitness and Confidence Building - More than 40 enthusiastic children from Venture Kids visited ProKick Gym in East Belfast on Wednesday 22nd July for an action-packed morning of exercise, fun and kickboxing. Led by ProKick founder Billy Murray alongside coaches Jay Snoddon and Jordan Belshaw, the youngsters enjoyed an introduction to the values of ProKick before taking part in a range of exciting activities designed to build confidence, fitness and teamwork. The visit highlighted the shared commitment of both organisations to helping young people learn, grow and thrive in a positive environment.

Today, Wednesday 22nd July, ProKick Gym welcomed over 40 children from Venture Kids to our East Belfast headquarters for a morning packed with fun, fitness and kickboxing, ProKick style.
The session was led by three ProKick coaches — Billy Murray, Jay Snoddon and Jordan Belshaw — alongside seven dedicated leaders from Venture Kids. Before the activities began, the children were given a brief introduction to ProKick, its history, values and what they could expect from the day ahead.
With plenty of energy, excitement and smiles, the youngsters were eager to get started on their latest adventure. Throughout the morning they took part in a range of exercises, games and kickboxing-based activities designed to improve confidence, coordination, teamwork and physical wellbeing.
A special thank you goes to the team at Venture Kids for choosing to visit ProKick once again. It is always a pleasure to welcome such enthusiastic young people through our doors.
About Venture Kids
Venture Kids was founded by Siobhan and Frazer, who recognised a need for quality, affordable childcare in East Belfast when their own children were beginning primary school. Unable to find a service that met their family’s needs, they made the life-changing decision to change careers and create their own solution.
In 2016, they opened their first Venture Kids setting in Oakland. The service quickly grew in popularity, leading to a second setting opening at Knock in 2019. Such has been the success of the organisation that a third location on the Kings Road is scheduled to open in September 2026.
At the heart of Venture Kids is a commitment to child-led play and the principles of Playwork. Children are encouraged to explore, develop confidence, build friendships and learn at their own pace in a safe, supportive and nurturing environment.
The values of Venture Kids and ProKick share many similarities — creating opportunities for young people to grow, develop self-belief and realise their full potential. We look forward to welcoming the Venture Kids team back again in the future. 👊🥊
