Four years ago, to the day, Grace Goody claimed victory in the amateur K-1 championship in Tokyo, Japan. Now, exactly four years later, she finds herself in Hamburg, Germany, fighting for the prestigious IPTA European Pro-Am K-1 title. At 9 AM UK time on December 14, 2024, Grace stepped on the scales, hitting the required weight limit of 54.4kg—the same weight she achieved when she won the All-Japanese championship.
Grace Goody a 22-year-old kickboxing sensation has spent most of her life preparing for this moment. Her journey began at just eight years old when her grandmother, Pauline Goody, a ProKick black belt, introduced her to the sport. Fourteen years later, the "Smiling Assassin" Grace, has never looked back.
With over 20 fights under her belt, Grace has proven herself across various disciplines, including full-contact, low-kick, and K-1 style kickboxing. Now, she faces one of her toughest challenges yet: Anastasia Mikhalova, a dynamic German Kyokushin karate expert with an impressive list of national and international accolades.
