Snoddon Stops Chomatas in Cyprus Main Event
October 01, 2026
Nicosia, Cyprus — 1 October 2026 - Jay “The Belfast Samurai” Snoddon delivered a commanding performance against Greece’s Chomatas at Pavilion Hall. His nonstop punches and knees led to a standing eight count late in the first round and another in the second. Jay stepped up the pressure again in the third, and Chomatas’s corner threw in the towel.
Jay's latest win brings his record to 18-2, with nine knockouts. He'll next face Tadhg English on October 10 in Cork at the Siam Warriors show.

The win takes Jay’s record to 18 fights with just two losses, one since avenged, and nine wins by knockout. He next faces Tadhg English in Cork on 10 October at Martin Horgan’s Siam Warriors show.
Seventeen-year-old Max Murray, fresh from a win at CFL18 in Belfast, also stepped into the ring for another international contest against Michael. Max boxed well at range and worked with knees on the inside. A knee to the body during a clinch prompted an angry protest from Michael’s corner, who believed it had landed low, and the bout was delayed briefly. ProKick felt Max had done enough over the three rounds, but the judges awarded the decision to Michael. It was a disappointing result for Max, who showed real class on a major international stage.
Belfast’s Chris Phillips made his international refereeing debut and took charge of his first championship contest, the WKN European title bout between Karagiotzidou and E. Xuereb.
“I’d like to thank Chris Christodoulou for inviting our team to Pavilion Hall, and our backroom staff in Belfast for running the live coverage on ProKick.TV
Well done to everyone who represented ProKick in Cyprus.”
