ProKick Kids in Competition
April 05, 2024
Fifteen ProKick Kids are gearing up to show off their skills once again, as they head to Larne for a kickboxing competition TODAY Friday. These young talents, aged between 7-15, have been training hard in the lead up to this event and are eager to showcase their skills in the RING
The tournament, organised by Wilson Snoddy of 'Champions Kickboxing Club', offers an engaging platform for kids to compete, socialise, and forge new friendships. Amidst the spirit of competition, a warm and supportive atmosphere is anticipated, aimed at inspiring and propelling each participant towards their individual best.
With the recent thrilling victory of Jay Snoddon, for his second WKN featherweight world champion, the ProKick squad are even more motivated to excel in their own right. The young kickboxers have been inspired to push themselves to the limit and surpass their own expectations.
Billy Murray the senior ProKick team coach, spoke about the excitement surrounding the upcoming competition, stating that he is thrilled to see the level of dedication and enthusiasm shown by the kids and their families. He added, "We believe that these young athletes represent the future of kickboxing, and we want to provide them with opportunities to hone their skills and gain experiences that stay with them for a lifetime."
The ProKick Kids are ready for the challenge that awaits them in Larne, and we look forward to seeing their hard work and determination pay off as they aim to bring home some trophies.
All ProKick team members are kindly asked to arrive at Larne Leisure Centre by 6 pm. Parents can drop off their children with the ProKick team. The doors will open at 7 pm, and the first match will commence at 7:30 pm.
