May Madness for ProKick

A THIRTEEN strong ProKick team travelled to Carlow and took part in Diarmuid Maher's 'May Madness' event on Sunday 7th May. Six ProKickers in K1 fights, one in a Low-kick match and the two more in exhibition matches, a total of NINE going through the ropes. All-in-all we had 13 of a team - A Baker's Dozen who travelled to take part in the TopPro show.

The team were made up mainly of debutants or ProKickers having their first even match or second competitive bout. The team may not have got the result they were hoping to achieve but in reflection gained valuable ring time and experience. Well done to Gary Lynch for walking away with the only win from the team.
A big thanks to Johnny Smith, James Braniff and Jay Snoddon who looked after and managed the squad at the event.
