KICKmas 2020
November 05, 2020
Fight fans will be pleased to know that KICKmas is COMING! ProKick's Little Helpers will be hard at work and it's going to be a Christmas cracker. Our ProKick ‘Spooktacular' was rescheduled from October 31 due to tighter restrictions imposed by the Northern Ireland Executive's fight against coronavirus with a minimum national 4 week lockdown, with just one more left to serve.
Kickboxing fans didn’t get their Halloween treat, but instead will jump straight to an early Christmas present. The event has been rescheduled to December 19 under the famed KICKmas banner.
At present any one of the three scheduled matches could be top of the bill. The WKN titles on the line are as follows:
Bantamweight Goody takes on Pia Peters of Germany for the women’s European K1 style kickboxing crown. Lightweight Snoddon meets Ranieri Cingolani of Italy, contesting for the WKN International strap. Welterweight Braniff faces Joshua Embradura of Wales for the WKN British belt.
KICKmas 2020 on December 19 at Stormont Hotel will mark fifteen years to the day, when one of the biggest World Championship bouts in Full Contact Kickboxing headlined KICKmas 2005 at the Ulster Hall.
That contest saw Samir “The Prince” Mohamed and Gary “The Belfast Kid” Hamilton, battling it out for WKN World Lightweight title. Boxing legend 'Marvelous Marvin Hagler' was special guest at ringside.
WHO will be special guest fifteen year later?
It's an early KICKmas present to ProKickers & fight fans alike and it's all set for the Stormont hotel in Belfast, on Saturday 19th December 2020.
