Day 6 – The Penultimate Day ProKick Black Belt Grading
December 20, 2025
Day 6 began very differently for The Super Seven. Before 9am there was no running, jumping, kicking, or punching. Gloves and pads were swapped for pens and paper as the team entered the classroom for exam time.
Back to School for the Super Seven - Sat 20th Dec 2025
Back to School for the Super Seven: As part of the week-long grading experience, each candidate completed a 30-minute written assessment, made up of multiple-choice questions and scenario-based answers. The test challenged not only their technical knowledge, but their understanding of the ProKick Way, coaching responsibility, safety, and decision-making under pressure.
Once the papers were completed, the team headed off for a well-earned breakfast — a moment to reflect on everything they had already endured and achieved across an intense week.
Giving Back on the Floor
At the 10–10:45am class, the graduates joined the end of the first Kids Class, encouraging and motivating the young kickboxers.
At 11am, they took a more hands-on role, helping manage a busy class. The team moved around the room, shared experience, corrected technique, and supported the session — a key reminder that a black belt is not just about performance, but leadership and service.
The Senior Kids Class at 12pm followed, where after a structured drill section, the team treated the class to a fighter-style pads session. Energy was high and the standard was excellent — great work from everyone involved.
All Action Afternoon
At 1pm, sparring got underway. The candidates joined a fast-paced, mixed-level class for 45 minutes of non-stop action, testing composure, control, and conditioning against a variety of partners
At 2pm, the battle-worn Brown Belts stepped into a mixed-level syllabus grading practice, pushing through fatigue and sharpening final details. By 3pm, the physical work was done.
What followed was just as important: clean-down and wash-up. The gym was reset, prepared, and respected — ready for the moment that matters most.
