Just a few days ago, Dan's coach, Billy Murray, got a call asking if Dan could step in as an opponent for Conor after his original match fell through. After some quick discussions, both sides agreed on the weight class and fighting style.
The match is set at a 72kg weight limit, under K-1 style rules, with three 2-minute rounds. While Dan usually fights in the under 70kg category, both teams decided on the 72kg limit to make things work on such short notice. It’s sure to be an exciting bout!
