Cyprus Fight Night – ProKick Show Heart, Skill and Sportsmanship
November 22, 2025
ProKick returned to Cyprus for another exciting WKN International team event, where Uppercut (Cyprus) edged out ProKick (Northern Ireland) with a 3–2 victory. It was a night of tight contests, big performances, and plenty of positives to bring home.
Grace Goody takes the win! In an exciting WKN International team event, Uppercut (Cyprus) narrowly beat ProKick (Northern Ireland) with a close 3–2 victory.
As always, the ProKick athletes showed skill, spirit, and professionalism from start to finish. A huge thank you to Chris Christodoulou and Team Uppercut for their warm hospitality and for hosting a well-organised, action-packed show
Reuben Graham
Our 15-year-old warrior, Reuben Graham, kicked things off for ProKick. No stranger to Cyprus, he battled a tough opponent in a messy contest where momentum was hard to control. After three rounds, the nod went to Giannis Kountouredis on points, but Reuben showed maturity beyond his years.
Owen White
Owen showed grit and discipline in a close three-round bout. Both fighters delivered a strong performance and neither deserved to walk away with a loss. The judges sided with the home corner, awarding a narrow decision to the Cypriot fighter Michalis Karakasides— but Owen proved once again that it won't be long before he belongs on the international stage.
Grace “The Smiling Assassin” Goody
Grace was in top form, outboxing Fotini Fragki in every round with clean technique and calm precision. Her opponent showed heart to reach the final bell, but Grace took a clear unanimous points win. We’re hoping to secure a match for Grace in Belfast on December 7th. If any coaches have a 55kg female fighter available, we’d love to hear from you! We’ll cover all expenses, including flights, accommodation, meals, and travel. Let’s make it happen!
James Braniff
James delivered a standout performance, controlling the bout from the start and finishing with a sharp knee to the body. After a moment of ringside confusion, the referee confirmed the result: KO victory in round one for James Braniff.
We’re looking to secure a match for James in Belfast on December 7th. If any coaches have a 73kg male fighter available, we’d love to hear from you! All expenses, including flights, accommodation, meals, and travel, will be fully covered. Let’s work together to make this happen!
Semi-Main Event – Dan Braniff
Dan showcased high fight IQ, patience, and superior tactics in the semi-main event. Many ringside felt he had done more than enough; however, the judges awarded the bout to Evaggelos Chomatas. Dan handled it with class — a true professional and a credit to the team. Dan is matched for Belfast December 7th against a German fighter, more details soon
Coach Billy Murray’s Reflection
“Decisions don’t always go your way in this sport or in all sports for that matter, but that’s part of the journey. What matters most is how you perform, how you carry yourself, and how you grow from every challenge. Our young athletes showed heart, composure and respect — values that matter more than any scorecard. I'm proud of my team!
A sincere thank you to the organisers for a superb show, and to the broadcast team for delivering three hours of live coverage to fans across Cyprus and back home on ProKick.TV. We’ll be back.”
See you again, Cyprus — and thank you for the opportunity.
