Big Success on Christmas ProKick Grading Day

From 6 to 66 years of age, that’s how diverse and special ProKick’s Christmas grading day truly was — a family-orientated event with fathers and daughters, mothers and sons, brothers and sisters all sharing the same goal on the mats. From beginners taking their very first steps towards Yellow Belt, right through to experienced martial artists striving for the highest echelon of the sport — Black Belt — the ProKick Gym was filled with excitement, nerves, pride and achievement.
After one of the hardest weeks of physical and mental testing, each candidate was formally stripped of their Brown Belt and presented with the ultimate accolade in martial arts — the Black Belt.

🥋 Juniors Lead the Way
Before the senior grades, over 30 junior kickboxers took to the mats to showcase their skills and commitment.
New beginners and progressing juniors were tested for Yellow, Orange, Green, Blue and Purple belts.
For many, Christmas truly came early — because all they wanted this year was their ProKick Kickboxing Belt, and they earned it.
👊 Adults Rise to the Challenge
Next up were the adults attempting Yellow and Orange Belt, the first two levels at ProKick.
The intensity, focus and effort shown by this enthusiastic group was outstanding — you’d have thought they were all going for Black Belt. Congrats new belters.
At 1pm, the gym shifted into top gear as those attempting Green and Blue Belt warmed up alongside the much-anticipated Super Seven.
The Moment of the Day – The Super Seven
Just before the final session, the grading was halted for a special surprise announcement
Billy Murray delivered a short speech, highlighting the dedication, determination, resilience and talent shown by the Super Seven throughout years of training — and an exceptionally demanding final week.

📈 Onward and Upward
Following the Black Belt ceremony, the grading resumed with:
- 10 new Senior Blue Belts
- 8 new Green Belts

All witnessed the Black Belt presentation — a powerful reminder that every journey starts where they once stood. The message was clear: keep training, keep believing — dreams do come true.
