Advanced Beginners

  • Classes are on: & Monday 7pm & Wed 6pm
  • Class cost: £40 for one session per week, or £65 for two sessions per week.

Congratulations on completing our beginners' course and welcome to the Advanced Beginners level! If you're ready to continue your training at ProKick, the next step is to choose a recurring monthly plan. Please note that we do not offer pay-as-you-go options or annual memberships. So you have finished a Beginners Kickboxing Course at ProKick - now time to move to advanced beginners Monday's at 7pm

Step it up and take your skills to the next level

In our advanced beginners class, we take your technique to the next level. We introduce you to the yellow belt syllabus, emphasising proper form and technique for holding and punching focus pads. Don't worry if you don't remember everything right away - with a little time, the lessons you learn at ProKick will become unforgettable.

Each class will begin and end with a re-cap of your belt syllabus and in the middle of the class we will do pad work, strengthening exercises, new techniques and much more...you'll love it.

We have an additional Advanced beginners & Yellow Belt pads class also which is Wednesday at 6pm.

To get started, simply contact reception to set up your plan, or log in to your account and choose from the following options:

  • Monthly Plan: One session per week for a month – £40
  • Monthly Plan: Two sessions per week for a month – £65

Terms and Conditions

Golden rules – How to survive in Advanced Beginners

  • Wait for the "one's" - you'll find out in due course.
  • Aim for technique over speed...for now. Use shadow boxing to fine-tune your technique AND defense.
  • Show respect to your partner by touching gloves or bowing.
  • Don't try to show your strength by hitting too hard - learn control first.
  • Remember that our World champions and higher belts started at the beginning too.
  • Don't give up!
