St. Mary's CBGS Belfast Hit ProKick

Students from 10G were recently treated to a thrilling kickboxing session hosted at the renowned Prokick gym, Belfast. Accompanied by their form teacher, Miss Warren, and Head of KS3, Mrs Lewis, the boys were put through their paces.
St. Mary's CBGS Belfast Hit ProKick - Pupils from 10G had the opportunity to take part in a kickboxing taster session Monday 26th June at the ProKick gym in Belfast.
They learnt the basics of self-defence, the ethos behind the martial art and had a quick introduction to the sport of kickboxing.
The students were in for a treat, as their teacher Miss Warren - a ProKick Black Belt - demonstrated some self-defence techniques. Throughout her journey to the revered 'Dan Grade', her students stood by her, offering support and encouragement. In December 2022, she aced her black belt, and now it was time for the students to step up and give it a go themselves.
The boys were surprised how easily their teacher 'Miss Warren was throwing ProKick's senior coach Billy Murray, a former 4-weight professional World Champion around, and with ease.
We certainly look forward to welcoming the St. Mary's CBGS Belfast back to the ProKick Gym for continued excellence.
