ProKick to welcome Four Ukrainian Teenagers to Belfast
July 22, 2024
Next month, ProKick will host four Ukrainian teenagers in Belfast for a week-long respite. ProKick embodies more than just a fighting centre; it symbolises the spirit of camaraderie and goodwill. Despite doubts last year, Billy Murray and Jim Crone ventured to Odessa, Ukraine. Jim captured Billy Murray's journey on film for a new documentary as he built connections with Ukrainian kickboxing and boxing through 'The PeaceFighters' initiative.
Here's the scoop: The documentary is wrapped, a top Ukrainian fighter travelled to Belfast and challenged a ProKick fighter for a WKN world title. Mr. Ruslan Puzdrach from the Odesa City Council visited Belfast to seal the next phase of Murray's Ukrainian mission.
Next month, ProKick Gym will host four Ukrainian teens and a chaperone for a week-long rest-bite in Northern Ireland! Flights, accommodation, food, and fun activities are all in the works from August 19th-25th.
Billy Murray is having the last word on this unique event:
"By supporting this remarkable cause in anyway you can would be great - bringing up to 4 Ukrainian children and their a guardian to Northern Ireland is not an easy feat. We'll make sure they have an unforgettable experience, we will take care of flights, accommodation, and they'll experience the delicious Northern Irish cuisine. We'll have a full week of exciting activities planned for them, culminating on a party in their honour for the final night. Help us make a difference!
At ProKick, our mission is to rally behind Ukraine. We're determined to make a meaningful impact and stand in solidarity with them in their time of need.
Together, let's make a difference!"
