ProKick students, ranging in age from as young as 6 to much older, gathered at the East Belfast HQ to take on the challenge of advancing to their next syllabus levels. Regardless of the outcomes, every participant performed exceptionally well. From junior beginners to senior students striving for their Green Belts, many successfully achieved their next milestones. For some, this marks the beginning of even greater challenges as the hard work truly starts now.

The Kids’ grading kicked off at 9 AM, wrapping up shortly after 10:30 AM. Only two levels—Yellow and Orange belts—were assessed. A huge congratulations to all the children for their hard work and dedication, and a heartfelt thanks to the parents for their unwavering support, bringing their kids to training week after week throughout the year.

The Kids' grading began promptly at 9 AM and concluded just after 10:30 AM. The assessment focused exclusively on two levels: Yellow and Orange belts.

The Adults’ grading began at 11 AM, starting with Yellow and Orange belt levels and concluding at 12 PM. The final session saw Orange belts progressing to Green, marking an exciting milestone for many participants. Well done to everyone involved!

The team aiming for their Green Belt began with a few rounds of sparring in the ring and on the mat. This was followed by self-defense drills, as outlined in their syllabus, conducted on the floor. After an intense two-hour session, their grading was complete.

In Kickboxing, a grading is an assessment process for both contact and non-contact students, allowing them to progress through various levels. The journey starts at the foundational White Belt and advances through ten stages, ultimately culminating in the prestigious Dan grade at Black Belt. Achieving this level is comparable to earning a degree in Kickboxing and typically requires six to eight years of dedicated training and development.

Photos from the session are currently being processed and will be uploaded to the website shortly.

Season's Greetings from the entire team at ProKick Belfast, wishing you warmth and joy during this special time: Billy Murray
