ProKick Gym at UV Stormont Awards
March 20, 2018
Big thanks for all the support at the Urban Villages awards. Sorry to say we didn't lift the big Gong. Best of luck and well done to all the winners tonight at the #UrbanVillagesCommunityAwards
The Urban Villages Community Awards celebrated the people, organisations and places making a difference across the five Urban Village areas.
The winner were all announced at Parliament Buildings, Stormont tonight (Wednesday) in a Gala evening showcasing the excellent community work that is happening all across Belfast and Derry/Londonderry.
We, the ProKick Gym were in the final of the Urban Villages (NI Executive) awards under the category Celebrating Diversity - the Gym was up against finalists from North, South, West Belfast and Derry / LondonDerry.
We were honoured to be nominated and the win would have been great but we didn't lift it. It was a privilege for us that our work in ProKick is being recognised for the difference we are making to people in the community. Billy Murray.
