New ProKick Belters 25th July 2021
July 25, 2021
Sunday 25th July 2021 - was graduation day for some lucky ProKickers. This was the first grading since lockdown hit the world back in March 2020. The good news, we at ProKick are nearly back to normal and today showed that with the turn-out at the gym. Our ProKick adult members finally had the chance to grade and belt-up by moving up a level on the kickboxing ladder of excellence.
The Morning kicked-off at 10:05am five minutes later then scheduled, not bad timing. Adults went through the ProKick set moves laid down in the ProKick syllabus for all the adults, and didn't everyone working extremely well, under the warm conditions.
A grading is when Kickboxing students, non-contact and contact, are assessed through a series of levels / grades, with the base level being White Belt, through ten levels, finally reaching a Dan grade at black belt, which is equivalent, if you like, to a degree level in KickBoxing. This type of achievement would take, on average, between six and eight years with a training regime of on average of three to four times a week.
Classes update - For everyone who graded yesterday, Sunday the 25th July, Please stay in you old class for one more week, regardless of grade awarded. We will inform you when at class this week to your new time slot. Check the link below:
A big well done to all those who attend the grading. New class time will be posted tonight in the classes section.
