Kids Belt-up 13th May 2018

ProKick's next generation of wannabee champions all worked hard at the ProKick gym TODAY Sunday 13th May 2018. The young high kicks were put through their paces for the next level of kickboxing excellence. All students (children) from advance beginner up to blue belt levels had an hour and a half of non-stop testing in hope of obtaining their next belt/grade. Next-up are the ProKick adults who will attempt to step up a grade from Advanced to Blue belt at the senior grading, more later..
ProKick Kids Grading at the ProKick Gym 13th May 2018
A grading is when Kickboxing students, non-contact and contact, are assessed through a series of levels / grades, with the base level being White Belt, through ten levels, finally reaching a Dan grade at black belt, which is equivalent, if you like, to a degree level in KickBoxing. This type of achievement would take, on average, between six and eight years with a training regime of on average of three to four times a week
Doors opened for ProKick Kids registration at 12.30pm, with the kids grading starting bang-on at 1pm. The ProKick adult registration was at 3pm with the adults grading commenced at 3:30pm.
