James Braniff is back in the Ring

October 30, 2022

The wait is over and ProKick favourite James Braniff is ready to step foot inside the ring again after a long and frustrating lay off with injury. And he’s not coming back against an easy opponent either in this month’s Champions Fight League. Today Sunday 30th October sees James’ much anticipated return in what is sure to be a high energy fight. He faces off against top Dutch fighter Quinten Baerts from the famous Sokudo gym in Hoorn. Baerts, 21, has had a lot of experience in the ring and this is set up to be a frenzy of action for fight fans.

Ironically, James’ last fight was in Laburnum Street when there was nothing but bare graffitied walls where the new state of the art gym now stands.
At Fight Club in September 2021, James won the WKN British K1 title at 67kg. This came off the back of his success in the prestigious K1 tournament in Japan and it seemed like he was just getting started.

However, a difficult injury and a long wait for surgery meant that he had to step back and support his brothers & sisters in the squared circle.

Still a few tickets left but don't leave it too late or you'll be sitting out in the cold.
