Graduation Day for ProKickers 4th Oct 2020
October 04, 2020
Covid-19 put a stop to a lot of sports when it hit back in March 2020. ProKick are fighting back by adhering to the rules and not becoming complacent. Here's our latest ProKick belters from the Belfast kickboxing school of excellence. Sunday 4th October saw ProKick beginners graduate by moving up a level on the kickboxing ladder of excellence. This grading was for ProKick Adults attempting, yellow & orange along with a group moving from orange to senior Green belt level.
Today's grading (4th Oct) was for ProKick adults attempting, yellow & orange along with one of the largest group moving from orange to senior Green belt level.
The pressure was on at the Old TinHut #ProKickGym , as the search for kickboxing excellence continued at Northern Ireland’s top kickboxing gym.
A grading is when Kickboxing students, non-contact and contact, are assessed through a series of levels / grades, with the base level being White Belt, through ten levels, finally reaching a Dan grade at black belt, which is equivalent, if you like, to a degree level in KickBoxing. This type of achievement would take, on average, between six and eight years with a training regime of on average of three to four times a week.
