Sunday 27th September , ProKick will host a mini Grading Day from morning to afternoon. This exclusive event for ProKick members is a fantastic opportunity for just the adult members to advance and earn their next belt. (Our junior members will be scheduled at a later date) Don't miss this memorable milestone to attempt to the next level! Full details on grading times are available below.
ProKick is hosting a Grading Day for members on Sunday 27th September. This event is an opportunity for adults to advance up to their next belt.
This grading is for Yellow, Orange only. Green and above will be at a later date.
For all who put their name down this week - you are all eligible to attempt to grading tomorrow.
The ProKick Adult grading is set for Sunday 27th September. Doors open at 11am, and grading starts at 11:30am. Yellow, Orange, - our seniors Green Blue Purple and above will be in December.
A grading in Kickboxing is an assessment process for students, both non-contact and contact, as they progress through a series of levels or grades. The journey begins at the White Belt level and advances through ten levels, ultimately culminating in a Dan grade at Black Belt. This achievement is considered equivalent to a degree level within Kickboxing. On average, reaching this level requires six to eight years of dedicated training, with a typical schedule of three to four sessions per week.
All those intending to grade all students needed to attend one of the three practice sessions, unless otherwise directed by your coach.

For the grading on Sunday 27th September - When deciding on who is eligible to grade, the instructors take into consideration a variety of factors. -
Knowledge of the techniques isn’t enough, all students, Junior or Senior must show the correct amount of effort, respect, attendance in classes and discipline in class to become eligible.
Adult Yellow belt Cost £30 - covers grading, license, certificate & belt - all the rest from orange and above are £25
Black belts are paid for by ProKick and is a week-long exam.

NOTE: Students testing for Green Belts are required to wear their full uniform, including long ProKick trousers, t/shirt and belt. (shorts are not permitted). Sparring equipment and gum shield are also required.
