A big well done to all the kids who were excellent and showed a lot of desire and pride in being a ProKicker.
Their brown belts were undone and their new black belts were tied around their waist by Mr Murray with smiles, tears and loud sighs of relief all round.
Eight Black Belters
They were joined by Mr Paul Gordon, another long serving black belt, and at this stage there were 8 black belters sitting on the ring assessing those who had come to grade. No pressure!
New Yellow Belts - Congratulations to all those who belted up today, from yellow belts right up to black belt.
Senior Levels At Pro Kick
The Teacher, Kathryn Warren - the Councilor, Ruth Anderson - Health-worker, Sarah Stewart - Ex-Pat entrepreneur, Amanda Garett - and the Hospital Clerk, Rowena Bolt. The Fab-Five achieved one of the highest honours in Martial Arts - 'Black Belt'.

The highest honours in Martial Arts is the 'Black Belt' A Black Belt represents an achievement through years of dedication and commitment. It symbolises hard work, self-discipline, sacrifice and perseverance and strong mental fortitude.

This is Not for the faint-hearted as very few very complete the dream - from Beginner-to-BlackBelt.

Here we here not one but FIVE ProKick seniors on their final intensive week-long personal challenge in preparation to achieve excellence within their chosen sport.
