Top Korean fighter returns to Belfast a New Man

Top Korean fighter Jihoon Lee makes a return to Belfast next month, don’t get excited fight-fans, he’s not coming here to fight! Jihoon Lee got married yesterday 24th AUG 2019 in Seoul, Korea. Jihoon, and his lovey new wife will return too Belfast for their honeymoon. Even though losing a championship match here in June this year - the super-welterweight Jihoon Lee made a connection with the city and it’s people.

Mrs & Mrs Lee will travel over 5500 miles back to Belfast after being impressed on how he was received, from the hospitality and warmth of the locals. Since June this year Jihoon has been in constant contact with promoter Billy Murray & fighter Johnny Smith.
“ This is not a one off, people fall in love with our country and the people here. I have been bringing people here to our event for close to 40 years and the amount of people who return here is staggering. Im excited about receiving the newlyweds in Belfast. I’ll take a few days off and show them a great time around our amazing country, and show what we have to offer here.” Said Billy Murray.
