Snoddon wins first fight in the Pro ranks

Fight fans were treated to three rounds of non-stop action of the highest standard from both Snoddon and his opponent Marat Yankovsky from Riga, Latvia.
Yankovsky certainly wasn’t deterred by the roar of the home fans and began the first round with strong kicks landing both on Snoddon’s body and head. However, neither seemed to faze Snoddon and he pursued the Latvian in his usual relentless fashion.
The second round was another close affair, with Yankovsky having some more success with his kicking game, whilst Snoddon was connecting with the punches.
When the third and final round began, it was all to play for and once again, Snoddon found that next gear and turned it up a notch landing multiple leg kicks and out working his opponent.
As the final bell rang, the decision was left in the hands of the judges who decided that Jay Snoddon had done more than enough to claim his first professional win.
A true spectacle for all fight fans and both young men have a bright future in the sport of kickboxing.
