We came, we took part, and though we lost all three matches by the closest of margins, our spirits remain unbroken. Sure, disappointment lingers because I know my team has the potential to perform even better. But let's acknowledge the immense challenge they took on: competing in the art of kickboxing, K1 style, right at the epicenter the heartland of our sport, however it should have been no bigger than us travelling to Japan competing and have success. I'm feeling proud: I can't help but feel an overwhelming sense of pride for my team and the way they carry themselves. While we may have fallen short in all three fights, it's important to acknowledge that we weren't outclassed. Every single match was an opportunity for us to gain invaluable experience that will undoubtedly shape our future journey. 💪

But the excitement doesn't end there! Our headliner, Dan Braniff, will go head-to-head in a fierce battle for the all Ireland WKN K-1 style Championship. It's a match you won't want to miss, spanning over 4 rounds of intense action, let's hope he will bring the experience he's learnt in Volendah, Holland!

This super event will bring together around 10 kickboxing clubs from all corners of Ireland, uniting fighters from North to South. Our next outing is three weeks today where we have 25 fights in one afternoon, the show is dubbed the Rookies, mainly fighters going-through the rope for the very first-time. I'll also have a few more experienced competitors having their last match of 2023. Dan Braniff, will top the bill when he competes for an all Ireland WKN K-1 style Championship over 4x2 minute rounds
