The countdown is well and truly on now for Saturday night’s Lord of the Ring spectacular. Fighters have arrived from Japan, Scotland, Derry and Dungannon to step on the scales and face off against their opponents. The anticipation for tomorrow night’s extravaganza was palpable with Johnny ’Swift’ Smith’s world title eliminator topping the bill and the return of the Belfast Boy, Gary Hamilton who faces off against veteran Scot, Douglas Morrison, 18 years after their last fight. The weigh ins went smoothly, which leaves all the action and drama for the ring!

K1 Oriental rules match made at 66kg
Shane Weir (Scotland) stepped on the scales at 65.3kg with his opponent Paul Leach (FightClub, N. Ireland) coming in at 64.9kg
K1 Oriental rules match made at 78kg
Chris Wright (FightClub, N.Ireland) hit the scales at 65.3kg and ProKick’s Welsh wonder Reza Davies weighed in at 77.3kg
A much anticipated re-match between two of Ireland’s top females takes place at K1 Oriental rules at 57kg
Grace Goody weighed in at 56kg (ProKick) and Molly Concannon hit the scales at 56.5kg (Kombat, Derry)
The co-main event between old foes Douglas Morrison (Fraserburgh) and Gary Hamilton (ProKick) was made at 72kg under Full Contact Rules
Douglas weighed in at 70.6kg with Gary hitting the scales at 71.4kg.
Now time for the main event…the WKN K1 Style Intercontinental Professional super-welterweight title 69.9kg
Defending champion Johnny ’Swift’ Smith (ProKick) hit the scales bang on at 69.9kg with the challenger Shuhei ’Suicide Attacker’ Sone (Japan) coming in at 69.3kg
