Hard work - Pays off

December 31, 2023

On the final ProKick graduation day of 2023, seniors and rank beginners alike proudly gathered to be tested and progress to the next level. Among them, three individuals stood tall on Saturday 30th December, having completed their examinations to ascend the ranks of ProKick's kickboxing ladder of excellence. The members' ambitions were evident as ten individuals undertook the challenge to achieve - Green Blue, Purple, and the 2nd level Brown belt to the final 3rd Brown belt level, the final step before the coveted Black Belt.

In Kickboxing a Grading, students, both non-contact and contact, undergo a grading system to assess their progress. This system consists of multiple levels, starting from White Belt and culminating at Black Belt with the prestigious Dan grade. One can think of the Dan grade as a Kickboxing equivalent to a degree level. Achieving such a milestone typically requires an average of six to eight years with at least 3-4 sessions a week of dedicated training and commitment.

The saying "Hard work pays off" holds true when we put in the extra effort, as it brings forth a multitude of rewarding outcomes. These can range from heartfelt appreciation, well-deserved recognition, prestigious awards, financial gains, elevated positions, impressive titles, and even promotions. Remember, in the end, the fruits of our hard labor will always be worth it.....
