First up was debutant, Lewis Kirk. Lewis was caught in the opening round with a right hook and took a standing count from referee, Stuart Kirk. The gutsy little ProKick green belt fought back well in the second and third round but lost on a split decision to John Gillespie from Mayhem MMA.

Fight No.3 on the fight-card was another ProKick debutant Owen Brown - this match could have been fought in a telephone box with neither fighter wanting to take a step back. In the second round Cheeko Docherty from West Bank KBC hit the canvas from a right hook from Owen but the gutsy West Bank fighter hit back hard in the third round to hear the final bell. Great first outing by two tough debutants, Owen took the decision on all the judges score cards.

The final ProKick fighter out of the trap was Dan Braniff, Dan faced local star Stephen Quigley. At the weigh-ins just a few hours earlier - Dan weigh-in at 70.4kg and Stephen came in at 69.6kg.
This was No.5 on the West Bank card and a coincidence that it was Dan's 5th outing as a ProKick fighter.

The first round started with a good exchange from both fighters, Dan landing the cleaner telling shots. The second round started fast and with an inside knee on the command to break from the referee and Stephen hit the floor from a beautiful right knee strike.
Normally a mandatory 8 count-out would be expected and on the agenda, it didn't happen as Mr Stuart Kirk the Referee claimed it was after he shouted BREAK - therefore a few minutes was given to Stephen to recover.
The rest of the fight was a messy affair and at the end of the third round all the judges only seen it one way - the ProKick Way.

Big thanks to our team who travelled to Mr China Coyle's event in the walled city. Also a massive thanks to China Coyle for the invitation
