McAleer: an inspiration

September 15, 2017

Cathy McAleer: travelled to France on Thursday, weighed-in on Friday, fought on Saturday, returned home on Sunday, and back to work & training on Monday. She may have been bruised, cut & bleeding & even lost to a professional world champion on points. Young fighters sit up and take notice; If you want something bad enough you have to work hard, even when times are tough. Belfast's ProKick WKN amateur World Champ is living proof of that.

ProKick's very own Cathy McAleer was back in training last night after a tough fight last weekend in Saint-Raphael.

Head Coach Billy Murray said "Cathy is an inspiration, not only to her team-mates but to those that have had the pleasure of knowing and working with her".

After returning home from a tough fight most would take a few days to Recoup but not our Cathy she was straight back at it first thing Monday morning, training others for personal health goals when her body was broken.
