Another sparring Course kicked-off

Wednesday saw week NO.3 of a Brand New Sparring 6 week Course - This course suits those who have never sparred before or those who have just recently finished the last course and don't feel ready to move to 6.45pm fighters class. Groups worked through boxing, kicks countering and combinations with more having a few rounds in the ring. NO fighters are permitted in this class.

Below are details of a previous course:


It was the final week of No.6 of the all new sparring class, was Wednesday 6th September from 6pm-7pm. Most of the members all had a round in the ring with champion Johnny Swift Smith. Tonight the team focused on boxing, full-contact & low-kick rules. . all new 6week #ProKick #Kickboxing #sparring course, just for the beginner.  (No Fighters) The new 6 week sparring course kicked of on (2nd August) at the ProKick Gym in Belfast. 

Week5: Tonight all student were asked to wear headguards (TONIGHT 30th August) as most to all had a session in the ring. The practise was working long, boxing in the inside. Also covered tonight, evasive skills, blocking & countering. Sparring covered, low-kick and kicks above the waist.

WEEK4: This week the squad covered, boxing in the inside with most getting some ring time. Also on the agenda was head movement.  

WEEK3: It was the 3rd week (Wednesday 16th August) of an all new 6week #ProKick #Kickboxing #sparring course, just for the beginner.  (No Fighters) The new 6 week sparring course kicked of on (2nd August) at the ProKick Gym in Belfast. This week the squad covered, countering punches and focus on the head movement, blocking & countering the round kick. 

WEEK2: It was the 2nd week (Wednesday 10 August) of an all new 6week #ProKick #Kickboxing #sparring course, just for the beginner. The new 6 week sparring course kicked of on (2nd August) at the ProKick Gym in Belfast. 

The team covered countering kicks on the first session and on this week's training class was focused on the low-kick, blocking & evading. Well done, everyone worked hard.

WEEK1: A new 6 week sparring course kicked of on (2nd August) at the ProKick Gym in Belfast. This 6pm class is now strictly for people who don't want to compete and are just looking to take their ProKick training to another level. And for those members who have an interest in competing they had the opportunity to stay on for the all new fighters class at 6:45pm.

For the new ProKick members wishing to compete it was a double-dunter of a class staring at 6pm working right through until 8:30pm. Details what is expected from a ProKick fighters who wish to climbs through the ropes into the ring was touched on the (2nd August) with more information revealed over the next few weeks.
